My family

My family lived in Brownsville for many years. And for many years Brownsville was a good place to live. The people were friendly. The streets were clean. The parks were beautiful. The bus system was reliable and schools were good.

But Brownsville changed. Today the streets aren’t clean. People aren’t friendly. The parks aren’t beautiful. The bus system isn’t reliable and schools aren’t good.

Because of this, my family moved to Newport last year. In Newport, people are friendlier. The streets are cleaner. The parks are more beautiful. The bus system is more beautiful and schools are better. They are happier here.

But They miss Brownsville. They think Brownsville was their real home.

Why was Brownsville a good place to live?
